OK! Netflix Picks of the Month

Altered Carbon

Netflix’s hotly anticipated big-budget venture looks set to be your next binge-worthy series.

Set in an age where consciousness can be digitized and stored away forever, a prisoner returns to life in a new body and is forced to solve a mind-boggling murder in order to return to his rightful body.

Starring Suicide Squad’s Joel Kinnaman and The Following’s James Purfoy, Netflix’s innovative and unique series comes with a big-budget behind it and had already racked up an impressive 8.5 rating on IMBb.

Magic Mike XXL

Netflix gives us the best Valentine’s gift of them all.

Channing Tatum and co will be available to stream until your heart’s content the day before Valentine’s Day and we can’t think of a better way to spend it.

If you haven’t seen the film, Magic Mike XXL is the story of a former stripper and his pals who head to Tampa Bay in Miami for one last blow out show.

With the likes of Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer following Channing’s example and stripping their tops off for a majority of the film, it’s the perfect Valentine’s Day flick.

The Revenant

Not the easiest of watches, but definitely a worthy one.

With Leo DiCaprio shedding his typically handsome good looks and charming persona for long hair,a beard and a fight with a bear, we follow his character battle his way through the wilderness after a hunting exhibition goes seriously wrong.

Maybe make sure you have a cushion to hide behind when you’re watching though.

Derren Brown: The Push

Britain’s most famous illusionist gets his own Netflix special.

The Push will see Derren conduct a series of controversial social experiments  in order to exploit the intricacies of social obedience and compliance.

Expect plenty of shocks, tears and sleepless nights asking yourself; “how the f**k did he do that?!”
