Tunis/Tunisia — The governorate of Monastir has reported 3 more fatalities due to COVID-19, bringing the death toll in the region to 169 people since the outbreak of the pandemic, said local health director in Monastir Hammouda Bebba.
In addition, 90 more infections have been recorded in the region, bringing the infections count to 1,231 cases now and to 6,939 since the outbreak of the pandemic, he told TAP.
Among these COVID-19 patients, 90 cases are in the region’s hospitals, the same source said.
