Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black recently revealed that they are expecting their first child together.
The couple, who married in 2017, opened up about the process of welcoming a child.
Speaking to Attitude’s Heroes podcast, the Olympian joked that they “keep trying… but Lance doesn’t seem to get pregnant”.

The 23 year old added that the couple have looked in to many options.
“We’ve done research into loads of different ideas, through adoption or through surrogacy and all that kind of stuff,” he said.
“Well actually the laws in the UK don’t actually permit commercial surrogacy.”

Director Dustin, 43, added he thought the UK laws would be different
“That was a bit of shock to me,” he said. “That in a place like this, that seems so progressive and so far ahead still to the United States on things like employment, housing, security and marriage.
“But on surrogacy, it’s not available in the same way.”
In the UK, surrogacy is legal but prospective parents are not allowed to advertise for a surrogate mother, or compensate her beyond reasonable medical expenses.
Commercialised surrogacy is legal in the US and a woman who carries a baby for a couple can get a payout.
The approximate average costs to cover a surrogate pregnancy in the US are $ 100,000 (£60,000).
