Former couple Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell have had an extremely turbulent relationship, with both making allegations and counter allegations against each other.
In the last few days, Jeremy gave an exclusive interview to The Sun – and now former Hollyoaks actress Steph has responded with an exclusive of her own, this time with MailOnline.
Stephanie, 24, claimed to MailOnline that her former boyfriend Jeremy McConnell once allegedly crushed a broken glass into her hand during an argument.
Celebrity Big Brother star Stephanie said she suffered two severed tendons and had to undergo surgery following the row, which allegedly took place before the birth of their first child Caben-Albi.
Stephanie gave an image to MailOnline showing her as a peroxide-blonde actress lying down in a hospital bed. Her hand and wrist was bandaged up, as she lay with a mask on her face with her eyes closed.
Whilst MailOnline have not stated when this alleged assault is said to have occurred, the photo – showing Steph lying in a hospital bed with a bandaged hand – shows her with peroxide-blonde hair. This hairstyle was sported on Loose Women in February 2016, but she changed her hair colour to brunette after Caben-Albi was born on January 2017.

This new allegation of assault is different to an incident on March 9 2017, where Jeremy was accused of assaulting the actress at her home in Merseyside. He was found guilty of this assault on Monday 07 August 2017, and handed a suspended sentence.
Stephanie was also granted a three year restraining order against the Irish star for this incident, banning him from contacting her.
In the first incident, Stephanie alleged Jeremy grabbed her hand as she held a glass of cola, slicing her fingers.
She told the publication: “I yelped out in pain and instinctively threw my hand into the air and as I did so I accidentally caught Jeremy in the face.
“Two of my fingers on my right hand just fell because he’d cut the tendons. I had to wear a cast and a splint afterwards but I used to wear long sleeved tops to cover it so photographers couldn’t see. That was to protect him.”
She added: “The reason why I’ve always humoured him was because I’ve always been chasing that man I fell in love with on Big Brother. I always wanted to find that funny, charming guy but he is nothing but a narcissist and his mask slipped practically the moment we’d left the studio.”

OK! Online have contacted a representative for Jeremy who has declined to comment on this fresh allegation. However, a source close to Jeremy exclusively told OK! Online: “Jeremy strongly denies this incident ever happened”.
She had met him during Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, and they became a couple after the show.
On Tuesday, Jeremy had claimed Stephanie had contacted him on several occasions despite the restraining order against him.

According to The Sun, Stephanie contacted Jeremy “repeatedly” before and after he was sentenced. The website reports Jeremy’s claims that messages were sent to a member of Jeremy’s family in an attempt to make him contact her.
E-mails, apparently given to The Sun Online by a friend of Jeremy’s, start in July 2017 and continue to the beginning of November, when Stephanie revealed she checked into rehab for alcoholism.
One email reportedly reads: “I’ve lost SO much weight and was hoping you would call me.” On November 8 Stephanie, who shares one-year-old son Caben-Albi with Jeremy, reportedly sent him 16 emails in 24 hours.
In another, she reportedly refers to herself as Jeremy’s “future wife”, writing: “Your family loves you. Your son loves you. Your future wife loves you. Just make the move so we know you care.”
The following day the website reports Stephanie wrote: “Answer me, I love you. If you love me, call me. F**k this I’ve tried and tried. You don’t give a f**k. You can’t even make a phone call to speak to the mother of your child. Have it your way then cos it’s clear you don’t want to speak to me or have your family.
“I will always love you. You don’t give a s**t about what we had. I love you and always will. It pains me to see you hurting. I miss you. I really thought you were my one.”
Steph’s spokesperson had no comment about the e-mails. A source close to Steph told The Sun: “Stephanie hasn’t contacted Jeremy since she entered rehab in November. She’s been sober for over 100 days and is doing really well.”
Responding to the e-mail claims, Stephanie told MailOnline: “It’s complete rubbish, I responded to him not the other way round.”
