The Hollyoaks actress is currently expecting her first child, and went for a check at Liverpool Women’s hospital.
Rachel, who is due on December 27th, slammed people who stood outside the hospital entrance smoking.
Taking to Twitter, she told her 27k followers: “Annoying when I go to @LiverpoolWomens for a check up and see people smoking at the entrance.
“People should respect the hospital grounds for what it is – A NON SMOKING GROUND.”
She added: “These people should be fined instantly! Yet when reported, security are just chilling watching football.”
Rachel attached a picture of two people having a cigarette as they stood near the no-smoking sign.

Fans of the former X Factor star agreed with her with one saying: “Totally agree!
“I work in a hospital and it knocks me sick walking through a cloud of smoke from people smoking right underneath huge signs saying no smoking! Should be a criminal offence, it’s like sticking your fingers up to nhs staff trying to help!”
Another added: “What’s worse is everyone carrying out newborn babies and their first ever breath of air outside the hospital walls is a nicotine cloud.

“It infuriates me and is wrong. I wrote to my local trusts Pals about it and was completely fobbed off.”
“I had this,” said a third. “The smoking area was further away, but people smoked closer to the entrance which was just below my hospital room. If my window was open, the smoke would waft in!”
Rachel and her husband Jason Finegan announced they were set to become parents in August when the 26 year old revealed she is six months pregnant.
