Kate Middleton is currently is the midst of a Scandinavian tour, and the mum to be has spent the last two days attending official events in Sweden.
And the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge, age 36, has been treating royal fashion fans to an array of awe-inducing outfits each day.
Yesterday (January 31, 2018) Prince William’s wife wowed in a stunning red and white houndstooth jacket by British designer Catherine Walker.
But as well as ensuring Prince Harry’s sister in law looked as stylish as ever, the patterned jacket choice was also a nod to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
Diana, who tragically passed away after a car crash in Paris in 1997 aged 36 (the same age as Kate now), wore an almost identical outfit decades before.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s late Grandmother wore a Moschino jacket of indeitical prince of various royal outings before her death, the only major difference in style being the length.

As well as to meet the public in the UK, Prince Charles’s ex-wife also, like Kate, opted for the stand-out piece on royal tour.
In particular, the so-called People’s Princess donned the gorgeous designer jacket as she toured Canada.
Whether intentional or not on Kate’s part — with fashion trends going full circle — royal fans still felt nostalgic at the comparison.
Of course this isn’t the first time Kate and Diana’s fashion paths have crossed.
In December 2017, the Duchess was pictured wearing the Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot tiara, favoured by Prince William’s mother Princess Diana, as she arrived at the annual White-Tie Palace Party.
Kate dazzled for the occasion, which Queen Elizabeth hosts for diplomats at Buckingham Palace.
From her iconic engagement ring to her sapphire earrings (which she has altered) the royal often pays tribute to Diana with her jewellery.
