The TV personality — whose real name is Robert — tied the knot with fellow barrister Seth Cummings four years ago.

The ceremony took place in Ibiza in 2013, before Judge Rinder found fame through his ITV show, and his subsequent stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

The civil ceremony was officiated by his best friend, award-winning Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch.

“It’s very sad news but Rob is separating from his partner of 11-and-a-half-years,” said a source, who claims no third parties were involved in the break-up.

“He’s very upset about the situation, but the split is amicable and no one else is involved.

“Rob has never spoken about his relationship and nothing will change on that front.

“He very much wants to focus on his work, including Judge Rinder on ITV which he absolutely adores,” the insider told The Sun.

39 year old Judge Rinder became known for his work on daytime TV handling small claims in his own televised courtroom.

The show has been incredible successful and has now run for six series.

Judge Rinder was partnered with Oksana Platero in the 2016 series of Strictly Come Dancing, in which he finished fifth.

Seth, who is successful in his own right, was once a political adviser to former Chancellor George Osborne.

Judge Rinder met Benedict Cumberbatch while studying at Manchester University together, with the actor studying drama, and the Judge focusing on history and politics.

When Benedict married his wife Sophie Hunter, Robert was one of the groom’s three best men.
