Clifford – who represented Frank Sinatra, Marvin Gaye, Muhammad Ali and Marlon Brando in his early career – was serving eight years after being convicted of a string of indecent assaults that took place between between 1977 and 1985.
He went onto manage big media scandals, such as Rebecca Loos, when she negotiated with the press about her alleged affair with England football captain David Beckham.
He represented the late Celebrity Big Brother star Jade Goody, during her cervical cancer and death.
He also looked after The X Factor legend Simon Cowell.
Clifford appealed against his conviction in November 2014.
He said he believed was fresh evidence, however three appeal court judges dismissed his claim and declared the sentence “justified and correct.”
