Bhavna Limbachi’s Coronation Street character Rana Nazir – who is also known as Rana Habeeb in the programme – has hit headlines as she is embroiled in a gripping lesbian storyline on the longstanding ITV soap.

Bhavna is a 33-year-old actress, who was born in Bolton.
The star portrays Rana Habeeb, also known as Rana Nazir, in Coronation Street, which is a role she landed in 2016.

The brunette beauty boasts an Indian Hindu background, as her mother was born in India, while her father grew up in Kenya.
Bhavna Limbachia’s acting career
The 33 year old landed her role as Rana Habeeb on Coronation Street in 2016.
Since starring on the soap the star’s character has had a turbulent love life.
Following her marriage to her on-screen husband Zeedan Nazir, portrayed by Qasim Akhtar, Rana has been enjoying a romance with Kate Connor, played by Gareth Gates’ girlfriend Faye Brookes.
But that is not all, Bhavna has also starred in Citizen Khan, in which she portrayed Alia Khan since 2012, and also featured in the police drama Cuffs.
The star has also made an appearance in Doctors in 2013, which kickstarted her career in front of the camera, as well as Casualty one year later.

The soap star has made her love for fashion known on her social media platforms.
Her love for the industry inspired her to found her own business in 2010, which saw her design and sell vintage clothes and accessories.
Bhavna has revealed she is a huge fan of second-hand items, and her most treasured possessions have been handed down to her.
The actress decided to put her career in the fashion industry on hold when her acting took off and she landed her major role in Citizen Khan.
Bhavna Limbachia’s other career ventures
The actress previously combined her love for fashion and acting when she worked in the costume departments on a variety of film sets.
In 2005, Bhavna worked behind the scenes as the costume assistant on Chicken Tikka Masala movie, before she bust onto the big screen.
As well as working on the styling for the 2005 romantic comedy, Bhavna was the costume trainee on Bradford Riots and worked her way up to be the main costumer on All Day breakfast in 2008.
