The Strictly Come Dancing star has a bunch of party tricks up his sleeve, including back flips and now the tango.
And since JLS star Aston and pregnant Sarah will spend the festive season at home, they’re gearing up to host a stream of family and friends – with the singer concocting the perfect welcome drink for anyone brave enough to try it.
Speaking exclusively to OK! Online, he said: “If you ever speak to any of my friends who come to my parties, I’m one of them people who will ask everyone, ‘Do you want vodka or what spirit?’ Then I get fruit like a watermelon or pineapple and have that so the liquor soaks through.
“And I’ve got these massive bowls and I fill them with haribo, and fill it up with that, then basically let them soak all day and by the time it’s the party they turn into jelly shots. So it’s a more pleasant way to have a shot I think! The cherry Haribos are the best. Trust me, that’s the one!”
Aston – who turns 30 in February – also revealed he didn’t have to look too far for his Christmas turkey because his JLS bandmate JB Gill has been fattening up his bird for some months.
Speaking about their dinner plans, he added: “I enjoy the cooking, Sarah does as well but I try to take over. I can cook a killer roast but I’ve actually never cooked a turkey. I’m looking forward to getting stuck into it.

“Funny enough it’s going to be one of JB’s turkeys. We’ve put the order in and it’s coming from them, JB and Chloe’s farm. So yeah we put the order in and we’ll have one of their turkeys. All the boys will be popping over at some point for a bite!”
The national treasure is set to go on tour with his forthcoming solo album in April, but before that he’s looking forward to the arrival of his first child, and spending quality time with Sarah for their last Christmas as a twosome.
“We said yeah, it’s our last Christmas just the two of us, so we want to spend as much time together as possible. But we’ve had the food orders in (from visitors) I’m going to be a busy cook!”
