During her days at college, the 20-year-old X Factor star allegedly “kicked off” after disagreeing with a friend during drama class, according to a new report.
An unnamed pal told The Mirror: “Grace may come across nice as pie but she’s always had a bit of temper.
“In college she always wanted to be the centre of attention.
“During a drama class she saw red over something tiny and lunged for another student. There was a scuffle and the police were called. Now she’s being called a diva it looks like her true colours are showing.”
A police spokesperson confirmed the incident to The Mirror, saying: “We were called to an assault at St Mary’s College, Blackburn on 19-3-15, in which an 18-year-old male student said he had been attacked by an 18-year-old female student.
“No-one was charged in respect of the complaint and a community resolution was agreed between the parties.”

But the pal added Grace completely regrets the row, saying: “Things went too far one day and it’s something Grace regrets. This was a petty argument over an iPad that got out of hand. Grace is mortified about how she overreacted.
“She really is sorry for what happened. It was one of those teenage fall-outs that just got out of hand. It was a stressful time ahead of exams – but that’s no excuse. Grace has thought a lot about it since – and even written a song about it to try and find some sense and clarity of why it happened.”
OK! Online have contacted a representative for Grace for comment.
It comes after reports claimed Sharon Osbourne told Grace to “quit” her diva behaviour, after it was reported that she was “acting as if she’s already won” the X Factor after becoming a fan favourite to win.
But judge Sharon, who has decades of experience in the music industry, has advised Grace that she will no longer tolerate anymore “antics” from her.
According to The Sun: “Grace is undoubtedly a talent and marked herself out as a definite contender early on, but it seems to have gone right to her head. Sharon is having none of it and after she heard some of the talk about Grace’s behaviour backstage, she pulled her into her dressing room at the studios.
“She told her to get her attitude in check because success in showbiz is all about working with people and getting the best team around you.”
