The 23-year-old singing hunk, who is currently in the band The Cutkelvins alongside brother Jay and sister Shereen, has decided to open up ahead of Saturday night’s live show.
The X Factor star has admitted he has a little boy, Jayden-Lucas, who he has kept quiet since auditioning on the show.
“To be honest, we’ve just really been concentrating on our music so far, and there’s never been any questions about it that came up so, I just thought it was time,” he told The Sun.
“I’ve just been feeling a bit homesick about him, so I just want to be talking about him a bit more.”
He will be reunited with his little tot for the first time in over a month on Saturday, after being relocated to the X Factor mansion alongside the rest of the contestants.
“It’s actually been really difficult because I’m used to spending almost every day with him,” he added. “But I can’t because of the X Factor, so this has the longest I’ve been away from him.”

Kyle went on to say that his other half has been keeping him updated with the tot’s progress – sending him videos of Jayden watching his daddy on TV.
And speaking about touring away from the youngster in future, he added: “I’m not worried about it. I just need to remember at the back of my mind that we need to focus on it now in order to give him a good life.”
It comes after Kyle and brother Jay joked they might kick sister Shereen out of the band – should she get cosy with any of the other contestants.
As the only female of the groups, Shereen was quizzed by OK! Online on what’s it like being around all the men in the category.
While her brothers joked they were “uncomfortable” with the question, Shereen admitted: “To be honest im loving it yeah!”
“She’s just been voted out the Cutkelvins,” exclaimed Kyle.
While Jay added: “She’s been told to keep her eyes to herself, shes not allowed to touch anyone until she’s 41.”
