Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd reportedly left one fan gobsmacked after they discovered him asleep in a lift on Tuesday.
According to The Sun, the David Platt actor had been celebrating England’s triumphant World Cup victory a little too hard when he felt asleep on the floor inside a lift, leaving an unsuspecting woman to discover him on the way to her boyfriend’s apartment.
In the hilarious shot, Jack was sporting a white England shirt which he teamed with a pair of pink Hawaiian shorts and grey Converse trainers as he took a kip.
Jack’s head was tilted downwards as he snoozed, clutching his mobile phone and a bottle opener loosely in his hands.
A pal of the woman who found Jack told the publication: “She found it too awkward to wake him up.
“She just went to get in the lift and Jack was passed out on the floor.”

The woman, who works as a waitress, took the snap of the soap star before getting into the lift, climbing over him and travelling to her boyfriend’s floor.
Her friend added that Jack seemed a little worse for wear, adding: “He’d clearly had too much to drink and enjoyed himself after the football.”
The funny account comes as Jack posted videos of himself to his 222,000 Instagram followers earlier in the evening as he celebrated England’s historical victory in their penalty shoot out against Columbia.
It is unclear why Jack was in the block of flats, as he lives elsewhere with Ackley Bridge actor Freddie Bolt and Corrie co-star, Colson Smith, who plays Craig Tinker on the soap.
OK! Online has contacted representatives of Jack for comment.
Jack’s big night comes after he set fans’ tongues wagging just weeks ago fuelling engagement rumours while holidaying with partner, Hanni Treweek, who also works on the ITV soap.
The actor, who split from fiancee Lauren Shippey after over 15 years together last year, posted a cosy Instagram story with the blonde beauty, writing: ‘She said yes,” in the caption.
