Roger Federer is the Wimbledon men’s singles champion for a report eighth time after a one-sided 6-three, 6-1, 6-4 victory over an injured Marin Cilic on Centre court.

Cilic seemed to be struggling bodily throughout the early tiers of the 2d set and took a medical timeout for therapy to his left foot before walking out to start out the third.

Federer maintained his intensity and quality all over to wrap up victory in one hour and 41 minutes, a result that earns the Swiss his nineteenth Grand Slam singles title.
