The tattooed hunk is travelling to the East Asian country with the Humane Society International to help shut down a horrific dog meat farm.
Pete Wicks took to his social media accounts to announce his trip and say that he felt “privileged” to be able to help.
In an Instagram post showing pictures of the caged dogs in the terrible conditions on the farm, Pete wrote: “I am so honoured to announce that I will be travelling to South Korea with @hsiglobal @hsiukorg to help shut down a DOG MEAT farm.
“It is something that is very close to my heart and an absolute privilege to be able to use my voice for those that can’t.
“Please help the team and I however big or small by donating whatever you can using this link: hsi.org/helpnow.”
Pete’s followers gushed about the trip, with one saying: “Amazing thing to do, good on you Pete – makes me like you even more. I’ll make a donation. Good luck x.”

Love Island star Kady Mcdermott also praised Pete for the trip as she wrote: “Amazing!”, along with a worship hand emoji.
Pete is a well-known animal lover, with him recently paying a visit to The UK Guide Dog Training Centre.
He uploaded a shot of him cuddling a pooch as he wrote: “Last week @guidedogsuktraining centre @guidedogsredbridge – can’t beat a day spent with puppies!”
