Presenter Denise Van Outen, TOWIE’s Lydia Bright, professional makeup artist Tricia Woolston and others have teamed up for an amazing cause, to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.
The team are currently on a five-day trek through the Himalayas, where they will walk for up to 12 hours a day on mountainous terrain across the world’s highest mountain range.
The 85km challenge has already raised an incredible £7,000 of the team’s £15,000 target, as the members raise awareness for the cause, which tragically kills more children than adults under the age of 40.
Speaking about the fundraising challenge, Denise said: “Doing the last challenge for Brain Tumour Research really opened my eyes about this cause.
“Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer and it is shocking that research into this disease is so underfunded.
“With a young daughter myself, I think that everybody should be doing something to raise money to help eradicate brain tumours.

She continued: “I have grown very fond of this fantastic charity and I’m determined to do whatever I can to help Brain Tumour Research make a difference.”
