James Lock, who stars on ITVBe hit The Only Way Is Essex, has had £5000 worth of surgery after being targeted by Twitter trolls.
Just last month James, also known as Lockie, was ridiculed by cruel social media users when he was seen sporting a new hairstyle at the National Television Awards.
James – who’s dating co-star Yazmin Oukhellou – later explained that his new hair was in fact covering still-healing wounds left from a recent hair transplant.
And now he’s revealed that he’s undergone plastic surgery on his ears after facing even more abuse online.

Speaking to The Sun Online, James revealed how he was even compared to Hitler in one particularly nasty post about his hair last month.
“They cut off my head in one picture, and replaced it with Hitler’s. I thought that was a bit strong,” he explained.

“This was when I was at the National TV Awards, and I had to have that Justin Bieber hairstyle, ‘the flip’ covering my face as I had just had my hairline done and it was still healing.
“The trolls just went for me. They destroy people, but luckily I’m thick skinned, and even Justin Bieber himself ‘liked’ my tweet.”
This week 31 year old James had his ears pinned back during a painful Bilateral Otoplasty procedure with top surgeon Dr Riccardo Frati.
The ear surgery cost him £5000 while last month’s hair transplant set the reality star back £6000.
Speaking about the gruelling surgery he said: “I looked like the elephant man. When I woke up I looked like I’d been attacked.
“The bandages made it look like I had a massive trauma. I was still buzzing from the drugs they gave me to go under, and I had to sign a waiver which said I could die, but I was so confident in my surgeon.
“I went home a few hours later and that night when I went to bed it began to hurt. It was aching and throbbing, a bit like someone had punched you in the ears.”
Opening up about the decision to have his hairline and ears operated on James revealed: “Some people think I’m having an early midlife crisis, but I’m not. I have had a couple of insecurities since I was a kid about my ears and my hairline.
“One of my ears was cauliflower from playing rugby, and the other one had cartilage that stuck out since I was born so the surgeon pulled them back to make them look more symmetrical.”
“I’m a believer if something bothers you then fix it. So this is the price I have paid to make me feel good about myself, and for my body confidence,” he added.
