29-year-old Jon Berkery, who goes under the name Jon Jones, has never met the former The Voice coach – despite Sir Tom Jones knowing that he is the father following a paternity test.
Days after Tom sold his £6.5million LA Mansion, his estranged son spoke out about his own less-than-perfect living conditions – and expressed how much he wanted to meet with his dad for the very first time.
When the Sex Bomb singer was 47, he had a three-day fling with model Katherine Berkery, who was 24 at the time. After the night of passion, he apparently never contacted her again.

Jon hasn’t been acknowledged by his dad, but wants to get in touch with him “before it’s too late” – especially following the death of his wife, Linda.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: “I’d like to talk to him about normal stuff, like: ‘How’s your life been? This is mine.’ I want to see him before it’s too late.”
Tom did not publicly admit to having a second child until 2008, despite DNA test proving he was the father at the time of birth.

Aspiring singer Jon turned to drugs and struggled to hold down a job, and has been homeless for years. He was once living in his car in Miami, and was arrested for possession of drugs – spending four nights in jail.
In a bid to get in touch with the family, he also reached out to his 60-year-old half-brother Mark – the son of Tom and his childhood sweetheart Linda.
“I don’t want to spend my life regretting that I never made an attempt to contact you and I would love to hear his side of everything or just have a real conversation,” he wrote to Mark.
“I live in New Jersey, work hard and still have a very close relationship with my mother. I also record using the name Jon Jones (sometimes Jonathan Jones) and I think you’d both enjoy my music.
“I do not want help with my career or anything like that. I just want to meet my father before it’s too late. As we both know, life is too short to let the important things pass by, so let me know when you get a chance,” he said, with no response.
He also added that he wanted to appear on The Voice in front of Sir Tom. He added to the publication: “I used to imagine waiting for him to swivel around on his chair, then seeing me and I’d put up my middle finger.
“I even used to think about going to one of his concerts and disrupting it. But that really isn’t me.”
