Bola Tinubu, national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and members of the party’s national caucus will meet tonight.
The parley will hold in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
His media aide, Tunde Rahman, confirmed the meeting.
However, Tinubu would be absent at the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the party slated for Tuesday.
”Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is not a member of NEC. But he will attend the caucus meeting tonight,” Rahman told Independent.
Earlier on Monday, Tinubu refused to comment on President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term ambition.
He spoke to newsmen after a closed door meeting with the president.
Asked if he agreed with different groups and individuals calling on Buhari to seek re-election, Tinubu responded: “Don’t discuss that one with me.”
