Speaking exclusively to OK! Magazine, Louisa Johnson revealed that she was “really excited” to see Cheryl return to the show.
Cheryl was on The X Factor judging panel in 2015 along with Simon Cowell, Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora when Louisa triumphed.
When asked how she felt about Cheryl’s big comeback, Louisa said: “Really excited. She looks amazing at the moment and she’s taken her time to come back and I think the X Factor is the perfect place for her to it.

The chat, which takes place at Simon’s house in France where the pair filmed his Judges Houses, will air on Lorraine this week.
It’s been rumoured that the girlfriend of Liam Payne could be set to return to the show full-time, should Nicole Scherzinger depart to tour with her band, The Pussycat Dolls.
Louisa – who won The X Factor in 2015 – has teamed up with Alder Hay Children’s Charity and Matalan’s Get Spotty campaign.
Matalan has launched its annual Christmas collaboration with Alder Hey Children’s Charity, with pyjamas available online at Matalan.co.uk and in selected stores from 16th October 2017, with prices ranging from £2 – £10.
Of her involvement in the campaign, Louisa said: “I love children so I thought it would be nice to use my profile to give a little back and make them smile.
“I like helping people who can’t live their everyday lives to the full.”
