Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their engagement in November last year, and celebrated with a official photoshoot.
Kate Middleton’s soon to be sister-in-law looked sensational in the collection of shots, posing with Prince William’s brother, her future husband.
However, one of the Suits actress’ outfits from the photoshoot raised a lot of eyebrows, as the brunette beauty wore a sheer dress.
The £53,000 Ralph & Russo dress has a sheer top with gold embellishments, which broke royal protocol due to its revealing nature.
And while many believed Meghan broke the royal rule on purpose, it appears she choose the gown for a very different reason.
Alexi Lubomirski, the photographer who took the pictures of Meghan and Harry, revealed Meghan simply chose the dress because it was comfortable.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Alexi said: “To be honest, we tried on a couple of different things and that was just one that she felt comfortable in, so we weren’t really thinking, ‘Is it nude?’ or anything.
“We just thought, ‘feel comfortable and let’s make some nice pictures’.”
At the time the images were released, some people questioned the gown, commenting: “Bit of a revealing dress there Megs.”
Another posted at the time: “Is Meghan Markle wearing sheer dress with no underwear on the official engagement photo?”
But what do you think, was Meghan’s dress too revealing?
