Tess Daly’s Strictly Come Dancing outfits are always the talk of the BBC show’s viewers – and this week made no change.

Vernon Kay’s wife caused a stir on a recent episode of Strictly as she presented with co-host Claudia Winkleman.

The 48 year old – who’s real name is actually Helen – stepped out onto the Strictly dance floor wearing a hot pink mini dress.

However, the main event of the unusual look was the drape style arms, which made a cape at the back of the dress.

It’s no secret the mum of two is a massive fan of the cape-look, however, it appears fans have had enough.

Commenting on social media, one viewer wrote: “Not sure about the cape!” while another begged: “No! Please no more capes.”

One Strictly viewer even likened the Children In Need host to a superhero, sharing: “Was it superhero day on #strictly today? Just wondering why Tess was in a cape….”

However, others were obsessed with the dress, by Alexandra McQueen, and on sale at Net A Porter for £530.

One impressed viewer wrote: “Love the cape dress! Where is it from?” while another shared: “You’ve got to love a cape tess, superhero night.”

But what do you think of the look? Take or poll above.
