The This Morning presenter has hit the headlines this week after asking his wife to quit BBC hit show Strictly Come Dancing.
Eamonn Holmes, 57, has already admitted to feeling very lonely with wife Ruth Langsford having to spend so much time training, but now he’s revealed that an injury has made him increasingly worried about her.
The TV star revealed that Ruth has been struggling through the pain barrier this week as she learns to dance the tango with her Strictly partner Anton Du Beke.
According to Eamonn, the beautiful Ruth is having to undergo daily physiotherapy for a sore hamstring injury and he said: “The chances of her winning are nil.
“I say to her, ‘Are you OK? You look exhausted. Is it not time to step away?'”
However, Ruth apparently has no plans to quit the show and Eamonn added: “She is enjoying proving things to herself. I think she loves it.”

While the much-loved Loose Women and This Morning presenter is still going strong in the competition, Ruth recently confessed to breaking a huge Strictly Come Dancing rule.
Last week’s show saw Ruth and her partner Anton Du Beke perform a sultry rumba.
For the performance, 57 year old Ruth dressed in a stunning blue gown, teamed with a long blonde wig – making the star look unrecognisable from her usually cropped do.
However, during Loose Women this week, Ruth admitted she’d broken the rules of the show and taken the wig home with her.
Talking to her co-stars, the mum of one explained: “You can’t take anything, I am just borrowing it.
