The Just Tattoo Of Us star, who recently split with Charlotte Crosby, took to Twitter to address his 319k followers about the news, after he was set to appear in Reading and Oxford to sign copies of his new book.
However, following a night out in Manchester, he took to Twitter to write: “Going through a really bad time atm. Really sorry about today’s book signings and will not be attending tomorrow. Gutted.”
OK! Online have contacted a rep for Stephen for comment.

Some eagle-eyed fans logged onto Snapchat to check on Bear’s well-being following the worrying post, and saw the Ex on the Beach star dancing and partying with brother Rob in the car.
Looking in high spirits, the blue-eyed hunk seemed to put on a brave face as he tried to enjoy himself with friends following the cancellation. It’s unknown whether his post was regarding ex-girlfriend Charlotte Crosby, as the pair broke up just weeks before.
Bear’s rep exclusively confirmed to OK! Online that the duo called time on their romance in October, after months of dating.

“I can confirm that sadly Stephen and Charlotte ended their relationship last week,” Bear’s rep told OK! Online. “The pair ended on good terms, and no one else was involved whatsoever.”
And, following their break up, the Celebrity Big Brother winner has lifted the lid on his next girlfriend.
“I was in a relationship for so long, I find it quite disrespectful to start dating this soon,” he told The Sun.
“The thing is with reality TV everyone’s kissed someone you know. The next girlfriend I have, I’d like to be someone that no one knows.
“The last three girlfriends I’ve been with before they were all in reality TV. I’d just like a bit of normality, I am a roofer at heart, I like normality, all this is just f*****g weird.
“Some people are dying to stay in the spotlight and keep seeing reality birds, but that’s not me, it’s just the way it’s panned out, but I don’t crave that attention.”
