Sophie Gradon’s former boyfriend Ashley Ienco shared a heartbreaking tribute after it was announced that the Love Island star has died.
The 32-year-old was found dead at the age of 32 at her parents’ home near Newcastle today.
Model Ashley, who dated Sophie in 2017, took to Instagram to remember the former Miss Great Britain in a statement.
“We were madly in love, had the best times in my life’s together I always tried help, a lot happened between us but she was an amazing person and the only real love Iv ever felt for someone (sic),” he wrote.
“Her smile was infectious and il miss that voice @sophiegradon a piece heart for ever #rip.”
Sophie and Ashley met while appearing on Love Island in 2016 after he competed against three other contestants on the show hoping to join the house.

He narrowly missed out, and Sophie later dated Tom Powell and Katie Salmon.
Sophie’s current boyfriend Aaron Armstrong reportedly announced the sad news of her death on Facebook, writing: “I will never forget that smile. I love you so so much baby, you’re my world forever and always.”
Her death isn’t being treated as suspicious, police confirmed.
In a statement, Northumbria Police confirmed: “At about 8.27pm yesterday (June 20) police attended a property in Medburn, Ponteland, where sadly a 32-year-old woman was found deceased.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. A report will now be prepared for the coroner.”
Tributes for the reality TV star have poured in from fellow Love Island stars and close friends including Olivia Buckland, Amber Davies and Holly Hagan.
