Alan O’Neill, who played Hugh in the popular series Sons of Anarchy, has tragically died at the age of 47, TMZ reports.
The Irish actor’s body was reportedly discovered by his girlfriend in the hallway of her apartment, law enforcement sources reportedly told the site.
No cause of death has currently been disclosed. A post mortem examination will be carried out soon, the website reports. No foul play is suspected.

The site reports he has a history of heart problems and was a heavy smoker.
The actor’s most famous role was Hugh in motorcycle club drama Sons of Anarchy, with his character being ex-communicated from the IRA after selling guns without their permission.
The actor had also played Keith McGrath in Fair City, and had been cast in an upcoming movie called Charlie Lives.
