Some of our favourite characters have worn incredible and inspiring bridal gowns, while others have made us squirm with their bad dress sense.
Our favourite soaps such as EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale have had entire story lines centred around its character’s wedding dresses alone.
While American sitcoms such as Friends and Sex and the City have given us some of the most memorable wedding dresses to date.
How many of these television bridal gowns can you remember?
Sinead Tinker (Coronation Street)

The character wore a very unusual wedding dress for her big day, which led many ITV viewers taking to social media to comment on the bohemian decision.

Despite causing a fuss throughout the show as social media users argued over the bridal gown, it quickly became clear that the number had caused Ronnie to drown.
Jumping into a swimming pool with her wedding dress still on as she tried to save her sister, Roxy, viewers pointed out that Ronnie had become tangled in the heavy dress.
