This Morning soap presenter Sharon Marshall has announced that she’s welcomed her first child.
The 46-year-old presenter and Emmerdale script writer made the announcement today, saying she had given birth to a baby girl named Betsy.
The television personality – who is not married to Paul – revealed she was 14 weeks pregnant in January 2018 during an emotional segment on the ITV daytime show.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield announced the news on Tuesday’s episode of the show, revealing that Betsy Fletcher arrived into the world at 1pm on Monday 9 July.
While on This Morning, Sharon revealed she was 14 weeks along in January 2018.
She then confirmed she is expecting to give birth in July of the same year.

Sharon later took to social media to announce the happy news alongside a baby scan image.
She simply captioned it: “Thank you so much for your lovely messages, Paul and I are beyond happy.”
Sharon and her partner Paul Fletcher are not married, and he prefers to stay out of the spotlight.
However, Sharon did reveal his reaction to the baby news, she said: “He is really really happy, he is thrilled. We can’t wait, we are just so happy.”
Sharon was previously married to Bruce Davidson – who she tied the knot with in September 2010 – the couple met on a night out and he was in the Household Cavalry, however, Sharon has always remained quiet on their split.
