Selena Gomez has revealed that she reached out to Demi Lovato privately following her recent overdose.
Demi, 26, was found unconscious at her Hollywood Hills home after overdosing on oxycodone, which was reportedly laced with fentanyl.
Selena, also 26, has now opened up on how she spoke to Demi privately following her hospitalisation, after months of rumoured feuding.

The stars because friends at the age of seven when they starred together on the hit show Barney & Friends.
Their friendship continued when they were both snapped up by the Disney Channel, appearing alongside each other in the 2009 movie, Princess Protection Program.
However, Selena was noticeably absent from the celebrity tributes to the star following her near fatal overdose, with fellow Disney Channel veterans Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas both wishing their Camp Rock co-star well.
Hands To Myself singer Selena has now spoken out about her friend’s overdose, admitting that she kept her message of support away from the public.
Speaking to ELLE magazine, Selena said: “All I’m saying is, I reached out personally. I didn’t do a public thing.
“I love her. I’ve know her since I was seven,” she continued. “So it’s…that’s what I’ll say.”

Demi’s drug dealer, Brandon Johnson, was the last person to speak out about the incident, claiming that the star knew she was taking stronger pills.
Speaking to TMZ, Brandon said: “100 percent she knew what she was taking. I disclosed to her that these are not pharmaceutical, they’re after market pills and they’re much stronger.
“She understood fully and you know, it was unfortunate what happened but for anybody that thinks there was some misconception on my behalf is absolutely ridiculous.”
