Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker, who was recently slammed by co-star Kim Cattrall following her reaction to the loss of Kim’s brother, has responded to rumours of a ‘feud’ between the pair.
Kim had also previously slammed Sarah on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, revealing that she will ”never” reunite with the Carrie Bradshaw actress for another series or film – and said she “wish Sarah could have been nicer” about her decision not to reprise her role as Samantha Jones.
Following the rumours of a feud, Sarah has now opened up to People – saying “there was no fight” between the pair.
“I never talked about it, except [to say] that some of us were disappointed [about the movie not happening],” Sarah said.
“But I never responded to the conversation Kim had with Piers Morgan, where she said things that were really hurtful about me.
“We had this experience and it was amazing, and nothing will ever be like it. We had a connection with an audience, and we had a connection with the city and with this crew, and we got to tell these crazy stories with each other. So I don’t want to mess with that.”

She continued: “I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing that part. So there was no fight; it was completely fabricated, because I actually never responded. And I won’t, because she needed to say what she needed to say, and that is her privilege.”
It comes after Kim posted a scathing message to Sarah, following the death of her brother who went missing just days before.
Sarah Jessica Parker then reached out to the actress following the tragic news, telling Entertainment Tonight: “If somebody in your life, whether you’re in touch with them or not, [is] suffering for any reason, it’s involuntary that you want to convey condolences or sadness or just let someone know you’re thinking about them.”
Speaking with Extra, the Divorce star added: “I can’t begin to know how her family is managing such a loss. We all send her our love and condolences and grant her the privacy that she’s asked for.”
But Kim – who famously didn’t get on with Sarah, and turned down the opportunity to star in another Sex and the City film – did not take her former co-star’s well-wishes as something positive, instead deciding to hit back in a vicious post online.
“I don’t need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker,” her post read. She added to her 443k followers: “My Mom asked me today ‘When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?’
“Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.”
