Cristiano Ronaldo passed 300 LaLiga goals on Saturday, after scoring twice as Real Madrid beat local rivals, Getafe 3-1 at the Bernabeu.
Gareth Bale gave Madrid a 24th-minute lead, before Ronaldo made it 2-0 on the stroke of half time.
The goal saw him become only the second player after Lionel Messi to score 300 LaLiga goals, in only his 286th league appearance.
Getafe, who had Loic Remy sent off, pulled one back through Francisco Portillo’s penalty
But Ronaldo headed home his second of the night in the 78th minute to wrap up the win.
The result sees Real move to within seven points of second-placed Atletico Madrid, who face leaders Barcelona on Sunday.
