Everyone loves a royal wedding, which is why fans were overjoyed when Princess Eugenie announced her long term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank had proposed just months after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘s engagement.
Eugenie – who has a full time job – is expected to get married autumn 2018, at the same venue as Prince Harry in Windsor.
But while we await more wedding details, what do we know about the ring?
Sentimentally, Princess Eugenie took inspiration from her mum Sarah Ferguson’s engagement ring.
Her boyfriend Jack Brooksbank popped the question in January 2018 while on holiday, and the engagement ring is a padparadscha sapphire.
It’s colour is one of the rarest sapphires you can get, making the ring extra special.

Who designed it?
Adorably, the couple designed the piece of jewellery together.
Speaking on BBC’s The One Show, Jack Brooksbank said it reminds him of his fiance, saying: “It changes colour when it hits certain lights, much like Eugenie.”
The stunning diamond ring is estimated to be worth £100,000.
