Prince Willliam hand delivered his son Prince George’s letter to Santa on Thursday (30 Nov 2017) in ‘Lapland’ and all the future King of England asked for was a little toy police car.
The sweet young prince’s handwriting could be clearly seen on the A4 paper as Father Christmas read the letter in front of the Duke of Cambridge and a group of excited boys and girls.
The wish-list featured just the one present, and read: “Dear Father Christmas” and was signed “love George”.
The Duke of Cambridge grinned from ear to ear as the man dressed as Santa Claus read the four year old’s letter at Esplanade Park’s Christmas market in Helsinki, on the second day of his tour of Finland.
Father Christmas also checked the letter twice to see if Prince George had been naughty or nice this year, and found the little Prince had circled an option to confirm he has been on his best behaviour.
Kate Middleton’s husband also chatted to the other children waiting in line for their moment with Mr Claus.

The cute exchange came after the Prince met members of the Finnish Air Force at Helsinki airport.
He had the chance to chat to pilots and see a display of the aircraft they fly.
During his trip he has been quizzed on his brother Prince Harry’s engagement to Meghan Markle and yesterday he joked that the union will hopefully stop his brother from coming over to his house and stealing his food.
He said: “For me personally I hope it means he stays out of my fridge, it will stop him scrounging off all my food, he’s done over the last few years.”
