Prince Harry and his fiancée Meghan Markle have arrived in Northern Ireland as part of their first royal tour.

The British Prince and the American actress have landed in Belfast ahead of a busy day of activities, including a peace-building initiative and a visit to the home of the infamous Titanic.

Meghan wore a green skirt in homage to The Emerald Isle a week after St Patrick’s Day, and she teamed the look with a gorgeous cream coat and white blouse.

The couple – who got engaged in November – landed in the country on a sunny day and will visit the Eikon Centre in Lisburn for an event to mark the second year of the youth-led peace-building initiative Amazing the Space.

Prince William’s brother launched the initiative last year when he made his first visit to Northern Ireland.

As part of their tour, the pair will continue on to visit Belfast sights, including The Crown Bar, Catalyst Inc and Titanic Belfast.

And what has become apparent is exactly what the royal couple’s famed and fortuned guests will be wearing come May 19.

Etiquette website Debretts details: “Morning dress is also known as ‘ formal day dress’.

The jacket is always referred to as a ‘morning coat’. “Morning dress is traditional for men at weddings, formal memorial services, some official functions and formal daytime events in the presence of The Queen and some Season locations, such as the Royal Enclosure at Ascot.”
