Prince William and Kate Middleton have attended the wedding of one of the Duchess of Cambridge’s closest friends.
The royal couple’s two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were also at the wedding of Sophie Carter as she married Robert Snuggs.
It is believed that the future king, five, and his younger sister, three, had special roles at the ceremony, which took place in Norfolk.
According to People, George took on the role of pageboy, while Sophie’s Goddaughter Charlotte was selected as one of just three bridesmaids.
A source told the publication: “George is a real star, quite the little chap. He was having a great time, running around like the leader of the pack.”
The publication reports that the young royals wore traditional bridal outfits in blue and white for the nuptials.
Prince William and Kate matched their childrens’ attire, as William wore a blue shirt and tie under a grey waistcoat.
Kate stunned in a blue dress and jacket, with a floral headband sitting atop her head.
Similarly to Prince Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle in May, Kate arrived to the ceremony with the children, this time riding a decorated farmer’s truck.

With Sophie being a close family friend of Kate’s, other members of the Middleton clan were also in attendance.
Kate’s parents, Michael and Carole, descended on the church as did her younger brother James
However, Pippa — who is expecting her first child with James Matthews — was absent from the celebrations.
