“Many thanks to the brilliant staff at Letoon Hospital in Kalkan for taking care of my eldest son @spencermorgan93 so well.”
Susanna Reid’s co-star added that Spencer was “thankfully now on road to recovery”.
Responding to the former journalist’s post, fans rushed to send their well-wishes to Spencer and his family.
“You must have been so worried @piersmorgan. Glad @spencermorgan33 is now doing well. Thank goodness for medical professionals all over the world,” one wrote.
While another added: “Great to hear Spencer is recovering from this infection which can lead to overwhelming sepis if not treated in time..this is a nightmare.. particularly when one is abroad on holiday…hope Spencer gets home to the UK very soon indeed…”

As well as having a famous father, Spencer has built a name for himself in his own right through his famous friends, including Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo and Love Island hunk Charlie Frederick.
Fans even begun to speculate that Toff and Spencer were romantically linked in January, after Spencer jokily uploaded a shot alongside the blonde beauty, adding: “First date went well guys, thanks for asking @ToffTalks.”
The reality TV star never confirmed a romance, although Piers did push for it on GMB too, revealing that he had been in talks with her mother to set the pair up.
