Peter Andre has opened up on the possibility of having more children to OK! Magazine.
The 45 year star is already dad to four children; Junior Andre, 13, Princess Andre, 11, Amelia, four, and one year old Theodore.
He has now welcomed the idea of a fifth child with his wife, Emily Andrea.
When asked whether the pair would want to add to their brood, Peter, who has recently been announced to star in the Grease musical tour, said: “Well, Theo was so difficult for the first 18 months, but he’s amazing now and laughs all the time and it’s made me think I’d like another baby.
“Emily was adamant it was a no but now I’ve started talking about it and Theo’s giving us so much joy, she’s considering it. I’m a young 45 so I can imagine having one more.”
Speaking more about their family potentially growing, he continued to say the new arrival could come as soon as next year.
“I wouldn’t mind if we had a boy or a girl,” he continued. “Emily does melt at the thought of having another child.”
“She’s such a good mum. When we’re all here in the house there are so many joyous moments, so it might be nice to add another child into the mix.”
Peter’s comments on family come after he revealed how he protects Junior and Princess, who he shares with ex-wife Katie Price, from controversial headlines.
He told OK! magazine: “I’m dealing with everything that’s going on at the moment, but I think it’s very important to deal with these things privately and I’m doing so.
“Making sure my kids are protected and away from any negativity is my main priority.”
When asked how he handles it when his children ask him about the headlines, he added: “I try to be as honest as I can be, but I do try and find a way to divert it. I just want to keep the kids protected.”
