Take Me Out star Paddy McGuinness is reportedly “in the doghouse” following a “slighty awkward” reunion with wife Christine yesterday.
The presenter, 44, was pictured arm-in-arm with All Saints star Nicole Appleton this weekend, but has since reunited with his wife.
In pictures obtained by The Sun, the couple are said to have arrived at a scenic spot to chat before leaving in separate vehicles.
Model Christine, who Paddy has been married to for nearly seven years, appeared tearful as they embraced during the meeting.
A source told The Sun: “It’s clearly a very emotional time for both of them. They obviously have a lot to talk through to decide how they both feel about the situation.
“Those who know them hope they can work through things, because they’re a lovely couple with wonderful children – but sometimes things just don’t work out.”

The insider continued: “Paddy’s back at home with Christine right now. He’s in the doghouse but he’s got to face the music.
“It’s a slightly awkward reunion, especially as it’s Valentine’s Day.” OK! Online has contacted a representative for Paddy and Christine for comment.
It comes after Paddy was seen walking arm in arm with former All Saints star Nicole Appleton in Soho last weekend, sparking a string of cryptic messages from his wife Christine on social media.
Christine sent a Tweet to her 16.8k followers hours after the pictures emerged, which read: “When you realise you deserve so much more.. that’s not a bad thing.”
The model, who married Paddy in 2011, later shared a cryptic Instagram post with her 36.5k followers which read: “I believe everything happens for a reason.
“People change so you can learn to let go, things go wrong so you can appreciate them when they’re right. You believe lies so that you will eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
Paddy and Christine have three children together. Twins Penelope and Leo, who were born in 2013 and daughter Felicity, who arrived in 2016. Last year the couple revealed that their twins had been diagnosed with autism.
