This Morning star Eamonn Holmes is among the many stars named on the 2018 New Year Honours list.
The TV star, who has had a broadcast career spanning nearly four decades, joins Strictly Come Dancing judge Darcey Bussell and comedian Hugh Laurie to be awarded by the Queen.
“It’s like getting a gold star for your homework – 2018 will be my 38th year as a broadcaster and I can’t think of a better way of marking that,” Eamonn said.
“It’s a wonderful accolade.”
Bee Gees singer Barry Gibb and Beatles drummer Ringo Starr will be knighted, while Darcey Bussell will be made a dame.
The dancer said she was “truly humbled” to receive the honour after a career that has spanned more than 20 years.
