Meghan Markle has the same New Year resolutions year-on-year, but admits she struggles to keep them.
The newly engaged actress revealed that her New Year resolutions include giving up swearing and to stop biting her nails.
At the beginning of January 2016, before she began dating Prince Harry, Meghan wrote about her annual plans to give up what she calls “unladylike” habits.

In a blog post on her now defunct lifestyle website The Tig (which she shut down in April after three years), the 36 year old wrote: “Stop biting my nails. Stop swearing.
“These make my New Year’s resolution list nearly (AKA actually every) single year.
The Suits actress also admitted that exhaustion and stress, amongst other things, exacerbates these tendencies.

“The swearing comes in lulls triggered by being overworked or feeling mighty cheeky after a couple drinks.
“And when it comes to the biting of the nails – well, it still happens with a turbulent flight or a stressful day.
“It’s unladylike. But then again, so is the swearing. Dammit,” wrote Meghan.
Meghan Markle had to ensure her nails were in top condition when she revealed her engagement ring.
And so, Prince Harry’s fiancé took notes from Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth with a royal manicure.
If stress is a trigger for her bad habits, then Prince Harry’s fiancé may well struggle to keep her New Years resolutions in 2018 with a huge royal wedding to plan.
However, Meghan also revealed in her 2016 blog that she wanted to take up French after studying it in school and run a marathon.
