Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been engaged for just four months, with the former Suits actress already feeling part of the royal family as she continues to her husband-to-be on official engagements.
And it’s not just Meghan’s relaxed and modern approach which has won over the nation, as her engagement ring has also caught the eye of the public.
In fact, the ring of Kate Middleton’s future sister-in-law has already scooped an award, being voted the favourite royal ring in a survey conducted by online jewellery retailer William May.
In second place was Kate’s blue sapphire ring, which once belonged to Prince William and Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, and in third place was Eugenie’s pink sapphire ring.
The majority of Brits [49.3 per cent] voted Meghan’s in first place, with the overall showing both men and women preferred the style over the other royals’.
However, more women preferred the Duchess of Cambridge’s jewellery piece, while more men voted for Princess Eugenie’s pink ring.

Experts valued Meghan’s ring – which has some of Diana’s diamonds incorporated in – to be worth around £122,500.
Grant Mobley, a gemologist and Director at Plucznik, told Express.co.uk: “From seeing the pictures, I would estimate that the centre diamond is a slightly elongated cushion cut diamond, approximately 3.00 – 4.00 carats.
“The side diamonds are more than likely oval or round cut diamonds about 0.75 carats each.”
He added the centre stone is from Botswana, a location special to the couple as it is one of their favourite places.
Harry took Meghan there for a visit last year, giving the diamond even greater sentimental significance.
Speaking about the dazzling creation when they announced their engagement in November, Meghan said of the tribute to Diana: “Not being able to meet his mum, it’s so important to me, to know that she is a part of this with us.”
