Samantha Markle has insisted that her and Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, 73, will be by the Suits actress’ side when she makes her grand arrival at St Georges’ Chapel in Windsor Castle in May to marry Prince Harry.
Meghan’s estranged sister told The Wright Show host Matthew: “Yes he is, God forbid unless a plane crashes through his roof, he’ll be there one way or the other.
“So any rumour to the contrary is…my favourite new word is becoming ‘oh rubbish’. Yeah, so he will be there.”
It comes following claims Meghan would walk down the aisle with her mum Doria Ragland – breaking a huge wedding tradition.
A source told Us Weekly: “I’ve heard that Meghan wants her mother to walk her down the aisle, which would be a sweet moment.
“While they will always be mindful of traditions and the views of their elders, the day is ultimately about them and what they want to do.

“Their romance feels refreshingly modern and I think that’s something that everyone at Kensington Palace has felt incredibly excited by.”
Meanwhile, Meghan’s father has spoken out about his future son-in-law, quashing rumours of a rift between them after Harry branded his relatives “the family his fiancée never had”.
The 72 year old gave the newly engaged couple his approval in the short clip obtained by The Sun.
When asked how he felt about the forthcoming nuptials between his daughter and Prince at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, he revealed his hopes to witness the wedding in person.
Thomas Markle gushed: “I think it’s wonderful, I’m very delighted. I think they’re [a] very good match, I’m very happy for them, Meghan and Harry.
“I love my daughter very much — Harry’s a gentleman”, he added, before asking to be left alone.
