Kensington Palace have announced that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child.
A statement read: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.”
“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”

The news was announced by Kensington Palace as they royal couple touched down in Australia ahead of their 16 day royal tour.
Meghan, 37, was seen beaming as she and Harry, 34, held hands as they walked out of the airport and hopped into a waiting car.
Royal fans have naturally gone wild for the news, with one person writing on Twitter: “Fantastic news on a dull Monday morning! Huge congratulations to Harry& Meghan, they will make wonderful parents!”

Another person said: “Congratulations to Harry and Meghan!! This must be such an exciting time for them.”
A third follower wrote: “Absolutely amazing news, congratulations all! They’ll make fabulous parents xx.”
Meghan sparked pregnancy speculation at Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding days ago when she wore a loose-fitting navy Givenchy coat.
Meghan left Sydney airport carrying two large purple folders, fuelling pregnancy rumours even more.
It’s reported Harry and Meghan told the Queen, Prince Charles and other senior royals the happy news at the royal wedding on Friday 13 October before they left for Australia.
Kensington Palace said that the Queen is “delighted” by the news.
