Prince Harry’s future bride Meghan Markle stepped out in Edinburgh today, in a gorgeous Burberry coat and a chic pair of flared trousers.
The former Suits actress looked gorgeous, but she also seemed to be making a subtle statement by the unique way she opted to wear her bag.
While Kate Middleton and the Queen often hold their tiny clutch bags in their hands, Meghan had her arms free after pulling the strap of her accessory over her head.
And a lot can be said about the 36 year old’s choice of style, as her decision to place her bag behind her body could be a sign of her independent self image.
Body language expert Kathlyn Hendricks told Glamour magazine about the hidden message.
She explained: “Pair the carry with a wide stride and loose limbs and you find ‘an urban warrior with a clear goal’. The bag is incidental to her independent self-image, flung on for its functionality.”

In the photos from Meghan and Harry’s visit to Edinburgh on February 13, she keeps the bag’s brand out of sight.
But as she happily greeted the awaiting fans, the accessory swung forward again, resting in front of the future royal’s body.
Meghan has certainly broken a lot of traditions since taking on her role as a future Duchess.
Meanwhile, Kate Middleton has stuck to her sartorial style and always carries a small clutch bag in her hands when she makes a public appearance.
It was recently revealed the accessory is to avoid shaking hands with the public.
The Queen is never pictured without her handbag, and often holds it in the crook of her arm when out and about.
