Meghan Markle has become somewhat of a fashion guru since her engagement to Prince Harry was announced last November.
The Suits actress – who will wed Prince William’s brother this year – has made several official appearances with her husband-to-be, twice opting for a very casual look with a pair of jeans.
And while fans are in love with Meghan’s style, the choice of jeans might not be something either the Queen or Kate Middleton would appreciate.
Jeans are normally not something a royal woman or man should wear to an engagement, as they are deemed too informal for a lot of places, and the Duchess of Cambridge makes sure she never breaks this rule.
Meghan, on the other hand, is ready to shake things up, and create her own fashion rules.

For the event, Meghan opted for an all-black outfit, including a Stella McCartney coat.
Meghan also wore a pair of jeans, an unusual and rather informal choice for such an event.
However, the actress showed support for the country she was visiting by wearing the Dina Skinny Fit High Waist Jeans by Hiut Denim Co, a Welsh company.
