The former The Only Way Is Essex star opened up on how she was diagnosed with infectious Colitis, leaving her attached to a drip for over a week and unable to stand.
Megan, 25, opened up about the shock illness after being forced to leave the National Television Awards earlier this year when symptoms of the Colitis started to appear.

“It was caused by a type of food poisoning called campylobacter, which people can die from,” she exclusively told OK! Magazine.
“At first I thought I had the flu, but it got worse and I was taken to hospital in an ambulance.”
Megan added: “There was blood coming out when I went to the toilet and I couldn’t stand up. I was in quarantine in hospital for five days and I was on morphine, codeine and drips.

“When I left hospital I still wasn’t right, I’ve actually only just got better.”
It comes after Megan opened up on battling irritable bowel syndrome, revealing she was cruelly mocked by trolls over her weight.

The reality TV star also revealed how certain food left her looking “two months pregnant” and she was forced to cut alcohol out of her diet entirely due to the illness.
“It annoys me that people think they have the right to say it to me or have the right to call someone fat. The trolls online are vile,” she said.
“I was dealing with it in private which was upsetting me because a lot of people were commenting on my weight. When I get really bloated my belly can swell up to the point where I literally look two months pregnant.”
