Hannah said: “Erectile dysfunction can be a result of stress, anxiety and tiredness, which can be overcome with adaptogens, such as ginseng, maca or rhodiola.
“Adaptogens work in times of stress on the body which may aid with improving mood, blood flow and overcoming tiredness.
“Horny goat weed has been used as an aphrodisiac to aid with sexual desire and performance in both men and women.
“It may also aid with stimulating sensory nerves, thereby increasing satisfaction during sexual intercourse.
“However, as with all health issues, if your low libido persists it’s important to visit your GP.”

Vaginal dryness can impact women of all ages, not just those going through the menopause. This can cause discomfort during sex which can then lead to difficulty feeling aroused or reaching orgasm.

Hannah said: “When you eat asparagus it produces histamine in the body which may lead to more frequent orgasms and a better chance of orgasm during intercourse.
“You can also add more nutrients to your diet, as omega 3, which is found in fish, may aid with arousal and blood flow to those important areas.
“This may increase the sensitivity and sensation during intercourse leading to a better chance of orgasm – look at consuming at least two to three portions of oily fish a week or take a supplement.”
