As Love Island 2018 approached the final, Jack Fowler and Laura Crane were booted from the villa after having been together for a matter of days.
Despite news on their relationship going a little quiet upon their exit from the show, the pair have insisted they are still together but their romance isn’t official just yet.
While their co-stars, including Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer and Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson, are moving in with one another, Laura and Jack are still taking things slow.
Explaining what’s really going on between them, surfer Laura said she’s happy with the pace they’re moving at.
She told the Mail Online: “We haven’t dropped that bomb just yet. We’re both so busy at the moment so there’s a lot of time where he’s off doing PAs and I’m doing my bits.
“We’re spending as much time together when we have the time. There’s no point in rushing into these things and putting a label on it for the sake of what feels like right now for everybody else.”
Laura added that things have settled down since they left the show, saying they’re “both happy” with how their romance is blossoming.
She continued: “When we first came out we felt the pressure. Now we’ve kind of settled into life a little bit more. We know where we are and we’re really happy with the pace it’s going.
”We’re not going to let the public determine how we’re feeling or how fast we’re moving, which I think has actually made us stronger.
“We’ve been really, really careful to make sure it’s on our terms and our time to make sure we’re not rushing too fast into something.”

Laura and Jack coupled up after she caught his eye as a late entry into the show.
Footballer Jack had previously been coupled up with Laura Anderson, but the air hostess went on to find happiness with partner Paul Knops.
