Love Islands Laura Crane and Jack Fowler have split just two months after exiting the ITV2 match-making villa.
The genetically-blessed couple called it quits on their short-lived romance following weeks of speculation, citing busy schedules for the reason behind their relationship’s demise.
“Sadly Jack and I have both decided to go our separate ways due to such busy schedules right now and not having the time to spend together,” Laura told Metro.co.uk.
“I feel truly blessed to have got to share my Love Island experience with him and to have made a friend for life.
“We will carry on supporting each other on this journey and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.”
Jack added: “We met in extraordinary circumstances and had an amazing time getting to know each other, both whilst in the villa and outside of it but our lives are currently taking us in different directions.
“We will remain friends and I will support her in whatever she does. I wish her all the best. See you soon surfer girl!”
The duo sparked rumours they were on the rocks for weeks, after continually appearing without each other at events.
The couple, who met on the show after Jack, 22, dumped former love interest Laura Anderson, 30, after surfer Laura arrived in the villa, had not made their romance official after leaving the villa.
According to The Sun, Jack fuelled rumours that he had called time on the romance after booking solo appearances without Laura.
The website reports that split rumours surfaced after there were no signs of Laura on the promo snap for Jack’s upcoming PA at Faces nightclub in Essex.
Additionally, fans started to question where Laura was as Jack enjoyed a night on the town with his Love Island co-star Josh Denzel last week.
The pair are not the only ones to call it quits on their romance – with fellow islanders Paul Knops and Laura Anderson also ending their romance this week.
