Love Island’s Zara McDermott has revealed why she wasn’t so quick to jump into bed with hunky personal trainer Adam Collard.
The loved-up couple, who have recently reunited after both being dumped from the ITV2 show, coupled up after Zara entered the villa as a late arrival.
Despite sparks flying between the pair, they never managed to go all the way with their romance, withEyal Booker and Megan Barton Hanson instead being the first couple to have sex on the show.

Zara, 21, has now revealed the surprising reason why she wasn’t tempted to get hot and heavy with Adam despite their connection.
“I really fancied Adam and it was difficult not to take things further. Who isn’t tempted when you’re really into someone? We were unbelievably close, inseparable,” she told the Sun on Sunday.
“It was tough when I was in bed with a man I really liked and cared about. But I was nervous about my job if I had sex on screen. There is a strict code of conduct you have to follow, so I was very conscious about everything I said and did.

“My job holds a bit of clout and I’ve done some pretty amazing things, so it’s not something I wanted to jeopardise.”
Zara works as a government advisor and previously revealed how she would be able to return to her job, despite appearing on the show.
During an appearance on Loose Women earlier this week after she was dumped from the Spanish villa, Zara said: “It’s difficult to explain what I do to anyone because no-one properly understands.

“But I was trying to explain that people like me work in government and we create regulations and policy, and essentially laws in a sense – we write legislation and stuff.”
When asked if she’s heading back to her job, she replied: “It is something I’m definitely open to in the future, I absolutely love my job.
“I work in education and I absolutely love it,” she told the panel.
